As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.
Our Freshman Family Groups are intended to help you start your college journey off on the right foot. Each co-ed group is led by an upperclass "mom" and "dad” and meets weekly to have a time of fellowship, prayer, and learning by discussion. You will no doubt find an FFG that fits your schedule and helps you discover your Christian community in Tuscaloosa and at UA.
When and where do they meet?
These groups have weekly meeting times, but our FFGs also have numerous fellowship activities throughout the semester that are meant to help facilitate friendships across FCM's entire freshman class.
What happens at an FFG meeting?
Our FFGs meet to read through and discuss freshman-oriented curriculum focused on how to best leverage one's time in college for Jesus Christ from the very first day on campus. There are often set times of check-in, discussion, and prayer.
